Assistant Professor in Community/Ambulatory Care (Clinical Practice Track)
Job Summary
This faculty member will practice as a member of multidisciplinary teams at the University of Colorado Sheridan Family Clinic (40%) and King Soopers (40%), with other academic responsibilities (20%) in teaching, scholarship, and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an integral member of interdisciplinary community pharmacy and clinic-based teams to support comprehensive medication management.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with pharmacists, providers, clinic staff, and administrators to ensure effective team-based care.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, clinic staff, care managers, and administration to develop and implement interventions that improve clinical care, advance pharmacy practice, reduce adverse drug events, and optimize medication management.
- Provide high-quality teaching in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, including precepting IPPE, APPE, and PGY1 residents.
- Produce scholarly work that supports clinical practice and advances pharmacy education.
- Participate in professional and institutional service.
