The Mathematical Sciences Department at Rhode Island College seeks a teacher scholar committed to excellence in undergraduate education. The department offers Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Data Science and a Master’s in Mathematical Studies, serving majors as well as students from education, business, and general education programs. The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate courses, including general education, foundational courses, and ideally, a willingness to teach undergraduate probability and statistics. Responsibilities include advising and mentoring majors, contributing to department and college service, and collaborating across subdisciplines in the department.

Required qualifications:
- Ph.D in Mathematics as conferred by August 15, 2026
- College teaching experience.
