Assistant Professor, Neuromuscular Division

The Neuromuscular Program is dedicated to the delivery of expert clinical care as well as to the education of both patients and colleagues at all levels of training. Members of the Program faculty are all board certified/eligible neurologists with special training in neuromuscular disease and electromyography. The program is very active in basic science and clinical research in various areas of neuromuscular disease, with faculty as members of both the Northeast ALS Alliance Consortium (NEALS) and the World Federation of Neurology ALS Consortium.

We specialize in ALS, Myasthenia Gravis, Myopathy, Neuropathy, Muscular Dystrophy and related disorders.

We seek motivated academics with clinical expertise in: 1) the evaluation and treatment of adult neuromuscular and neurology patients, 2) performing EMG testing 3) teaching residents, fellows, and medical students. It is anticipated that these positions will be primarily clinical and located in both New Haven and North Haven.

We anticipate faculty applicants to be dedicated to the education of the next generation of subspecialty experts.
