Position Summary

The Nursing Program of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time faculty member (one year appointment) to assume didactic and clinical teaching responsibilities within the undergraduate nursing program. Candidates with a demonstrated record of professional and clinical experience, teaching, and curriculum development are encouraged to apply.

We are specifically seeking candidates with expertise in the following areas:

• Maternal Child Health Nursing
• Pathophysiology and Pharmacology
• Medical Surgical Nursing

Essential Duties

• Teaching assigned courses (including didactic, lab, and clinical teaching)
• Collaborating with course faculty for course planning, advisement, and curriculum development
• Participation in program, school and University committees
• Service and scholarship in line with program expectations

Required Qualifications

• Unencumbered Registered nurse license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of a master's degree in nursing,
• Demonstrated record of professional and clinical experience, teaching, and curriculum development.
• Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with varied instructional delivery methods is preferred.
