The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing (GGHSON) is accepting applications for a faculty position at the rank of Instructor or higher for its Undergraduate program. The school seeks innovative, community-centered nurse educators with a passion for higher education to engage students in all phases of the academic experience leading to the completion of a nursing degree. Faculty member will collaborate with faculty, students, staff and administration to foster a positive, equitable, and inclusive learning environment. The Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing is CCNE accredited, grounded in the tradition of the Texas Tech University System, and embraces the changing landscape of nursing education.

Required Qualifications: (See job description for full position description and requirements) Masters of Sciences in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program. Minimum of two (2) years full time clinical experience in med-surg./adult nursing. Evidence of basic knowledge of instructional process and educational evaluation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of teaching experience in a nursing program or staff development position. DNP or PhD in nursing related discipline. Demonstrated leadership skills related to coordination of courses. Demonstrate knowledge of curriculum and instructional design and implementation. Demonstrate achievement in scholarly and research activities. Active membership in a professional organization. Expertise in critical care nursing.
