"Assistant Professor of English/ Assistant Director of the Writing Center (26-04)"

Francis Marion University and the Department of English and Philosophy invite applications for an Assistant Professor of English to serve as Assistant Director of the Writing Center. This is a tenure-track position. Experience in writing center administration required. Experience teaching language learners is preferred. Primary teaching responsibilities include professional and technical writing and first-year composition. Teaching load for Assistant Director is 2/3.

Requirements: A Ph.D. in Professional and Technical Communication, Rhetoric and Composition, or English in hand by the time of appointment (although ABDs nearing completion of their degree will be considered).
