The University of Southern Indiana invites applications from experienced professionals for a 12-month, tenure-track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Health Administration and Community Health, with a primary focus in health administration. This position is housed within the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions and will begin July 1, 2026.
Duties/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Teach undergraduate courses in health administration and community health, with a clear emphasis on health administration.
- Maintain an active program of research and scholarly activity in health administration, health care systems, or other relevant health-related fields.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship that supports student success and professional development in health administration.
- Contribute meaningful service to the University, the profession, and the broader community.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Earned doctorate in a health-related field. Candidates in the process of completing a doctoral degree will be considered. The successful candidate must possess a doctoral degree by the start date of employment.
- Demonstrated interest, experience, or scholarship in health administration.
- Evidence of effective team-oriented collaboration.
- Ongoing commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service.
