Assistant Professor of Instruction, Piano (Non-Tenure Track)
Job Description
The School of Music invites applications for a full-time instructional position in piano. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate applied piano and related courses that may include keyboard repertoire, accompanying, and chamber music. Additionally, the successful candidate will recruit qualified undergraduate and graduate piano students, coordinate our collaborative piano program, and work closely with our full-time staff collaborative pianists.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in a relative discipline combined with a minimum of seven years of relative experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Piano
- Proven ability to recruit and retain talented undergraduate and graduate students and a record of excellence in a collegiate teaching setting.
