Position Overview
The Department of Classics invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin in Fall 2026-27. We seek a Hellenist specializing in intellectual history.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching Greek language and culture at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Conducting research in Greek intellectual history
- Providing departmental and university service, including committee work, overseeing exams, and organizing events

Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Classical Studies or a closely related field must be completed by August 15, 2026
