The University of New Mexico, College of Education and Human Sciences, Department of Special Education, invites applications for an Assistant Professor Tenure-Track Faculty position in Special Education, with experience and expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to (a) provide direct supervision to students completing their ABA Field Experience/Practicum, (b) teach courses in ABA and related areas, and (c) conduct scholarly work related to ABA in the Special Education Department. Commensurate with their background and expertise, this individual will also contribute to the coordination of supervised fieldwork in the behavior analysis program. In addition, the successful candidate will advise students and serve on capstone and dissertation committees. We are especially interested in a candidate who can contribute to the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico through their teaching, research, and service. Successful candidates must be committed to working in the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico.

- A signed letter of intent that includes: (a) a detailed statement of qualifications explicitly addressing each of the Minimum and Preferred Qualifications and (b) information about how they will cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
- A complete and up-to-date curriculum vitae.
- Transcripts of all graduate coursework (readable, unofficial copies will be accepted).
- BCBA certification number.
- The names, addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses for three to five professional references.
- One professional publication or presentation.
