Position Description

The School of Accountancy & MIS at DePaul University is seeking to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in accounting beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year. Candidates should possess a PhD or be close to completion of a doctorate in accounting from an AACSB accredited University.

The ideal candidate is expected to conduct high-quality research, teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in financial accounting, auditing and data analytics effectively, and make meaningful contributions to service.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Accounting from an AACSB accredited University
  • Strong potential for scholarly research and publication in the field of accounting
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate or graduate level (or both)

Salary Information

The salary range for this 10-month position is $170,000 - $180,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
