Assistant, Transportation

• Plans, organizes, and control activities related to transportation
• Manages the fleet
• Maintains relationships with insurance companies and follows up on claims
• Accepts group bookings and ensures that transportation charges are calculated correctly
• Obtains licenses for transport and execution of motor vehicles
• Ensures timely renewal of licenses and permits, and reports to supervisors/managers to initiate appropriate action
• Answers requests for proposals and orders from customers
• Other related duties, as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of specialized experience involving the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position

Licenses/Certifications: Valid MS Driver's License (maintained throughout employment)
