"Associate/Assistant Professor in Finance"

The University of Macau (UM) is an internationalized public university located in the Macao Special Administrative Region. UM is seeking applications for the position of Associate/Assistant Professor in Finance at the Department of Finance and Business Economics (DFBE) within the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA).

FBA is a full-service business faculty with AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS accreditations, offering programs in various business areas and emphasizing interdisciplinary teaching and research. DFBE focuses on finance and business economics, with faculty publications in top journals, and provides research support including grants and facilities.

Qualifications: Applicants should hold a doctoral degree (or be near completion) in Finance, Management, Economics, or a related field; demonstrate the ability to teach at undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD levels; and have a record of publishing in high-ranked journals.

The selected candidate is expected to assume duty by August 2026. Remuneration is based on qualifications and experience, with benefits including on-campus accommodation or housing allowance, medical insurance, and provident fund. The local income tax rate is up to 12%, effectively around 5-7% after exemptions.
