About the area
The University of Western Australia is seeking a senior organisational development leader to design and steward enterprise frameworks that strengthen leadership capability, organisational effectiveness, and the University’s people strategy.
Reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer, this role leads the design and integration of organisational development, leadership capability, workforce planning, employee experience, and people strategy across the University. The role operates at the centre of institutional strategy, ensuring leadership development, culture, organisational design, and employee experience operate as a coherent system that supports long term organisational performance.
About the opportunity
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise organisational development, leadership capability and people strategy initiatives across the University.
- Shape and integrate key frameworks, leadership, workforce planning, culture, talent, organisational design, and employee experience, to enable long‑term institutional performance.
- Operate as a senior advisor to the Chief People & Culture Officer, influencing Executive leaders and ensuring people initiatives function as a connected, system‑wide strategy.
About you
- Experienced in leading enterprise‑level organisational development, people strategy, and organisational design initiatives in large, complex environments.
- Skilled in designing and governing leadership, talent, and capability frameworks, including succession planning.
- Able to lead workforce planning, culture, engagement, and employee experience strategies using data‑driven workforce insights.
- Knowledgeable in diversity, equity, remuneration governance and job architecture, with experience overseeing related frameworks.
- Confident partnering with senior leaders, Talent Acquisition and HR teams to embed strategy, frameworks, and governance across the institution.
