Associate Professor
Job Summary
The Associate Professor of Podiatric Medicine is an entry to mid-level faculty position that offers an opportunity to engage in the academic environment for education and training of future doctors of podiatric medicine. The purpose of this position is to provide the support necessary to assist with the development and implementation of the podiatric medical curriculum. Additionally, this position requires both didactic and clinical educational participation on the part of the faculty member.

Individuals must possess these knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essentials functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
- Able and willing to teach the full scope of Podiatric Medicine as defined by current College of Podiatric Medicine policies and practices.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited College of Podiatric Medicine in the United States.
- Minimum of two years of podiatric medical and surgical residency training.
- Board certified through a certifying board approved by the APMA/CPME.
Experience:
- Possess skills, knowledge, and abilities comparable to graduates of accredited colleges and universities in the United States.
- Bilingual abilities are not required but will be viewed favorably.
Licensure & Professional Standing:
Candidate must possess an unrestricted license to practice podiatric medicine in the state of California.
