The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Grade: Professional 304 Pay Range: $49,800.00 - $74,600.00

Job Description

*Position is on-site in our Salt Lake City, UT office*

Job Profile Summary: The associate quality assurance (QA) analyst (Course Tester) is responsible for organizing, analyzing, and simplifying information related to the university's program development initiatives. A successful candidate can manage multiple projects and deadlines while communicating progress on assignments to the appropriate parties on time.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Compiles, analyzes, and interprets data to support Program Development's initiatives.
  • Acts as a liaison to cross-functional teams.
  • Creates and implements quality checklists to ensure the functionality of courses.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to complete high volume work in a timely and highly accurate manner.

Competencies:

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Requires broad theoretical job knowledge through advanced education. No required professional experience.

Department Specific Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. 3 years' experience in process or workflow management or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in quality assurance and/or course testing. Familiarity with JIRA and Salesforce. Experience with Quality Matters and other QA industry standards.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Position & Application Details
