Job Details
Rocky Mountain College, founded in 1878 as the first college in Montana, is searching for a visionary leader to serve as Athletic Director.
The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, leader, and manager. Extensive experience with recruitment, retention, and financial aid are required, as is a compelling track record of successful community relations and resource development. Additionally, they must prove capable of ensuring regulatory compliance, particularly at the NAIA level, and exhibit an understanding of the unique challenges faced by small private colleges. As with any member of our community, the athletic director must support the mission of the College and champion the College’s strategic plan, while being a collaborative partner with institutional leadership.
Rocky Mountain College is a small private institution rooted in the liberal arts and focused on academic success and personal growth. We educate future leaders through liberal arts and professional programs that cultivate critical thinking, creative expression, ethical decision-making, informed citizenship, and professional excellence. RMC student athletes compete in the NAIA Cascade and Frontier Conferences as well as the U.S. Collegiate Ski and Snowboarding Association.
A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university is required. A master's degree is preferred. This position is full-time (12 month term of employment) and is eligible for benefits. Benefits include medical, dental and vision, life insurance, long term disability, short term disability, vacation and sick leave entitlements and tuition remission.
