Student Business & Account Services is excited to begin the search for a Billing & Receivable Coordinator! This position manages billing and receivables operations, ensuring accounts are accurate, balanced, and properly maintained. You'll analyze and reconcile financial data, support direct deposit processes, and serve as a resource for billing-related questions. Working across campus, you'll help ensure student transactions are processed correctly and efficiently from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and balances billing/receivables system and accounts.
- Generates, reviews, analyzes, reconciles and processes reports and accounts.
- Responds to questions regarding entries in the billing system.
- Coordinates with other University offices to obtain listings of student transactions to be entered into the Billing/Receivables system.
- Oversees the Direct Deposit of student funds, which may include (but not limited too) correcting errors and responding to refund questions.
- Monitors and reports errors in the student Billing/Receivables system.
- Assists the Billing/Receivable Manager with schedule cancellations and clearances.
Qualifications
Level I -
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of experience OR
- Associate's degree plus 2 years of experience OR
- Bachelor's degree
Level II -
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of experience OR
- Associate's degree plus 4 years of experience OR
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience
Scope of Experience: Experience in financial support services
