"Breast Microsurgeon, Associate/Assistant Professor, Surgery, Plastic Surgery"

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plastic Surgeon with subspecialty training in microsurgery and a strong focus on breast reconstruction to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team in New York State. The ideal candidate will bring a depth of expertise in both reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery, with particular emphasis on microsurgical techniques, including DIEP flap and perforator flap procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced breast reconstruction procedures, including autologous and implant-based techniques, with specialization in microsurgery.
• Collaborate closely with breast surgical oncology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in research activities and quality improvement initiatives related to reconstructive surgery.
• Maintain a commitment to high-quality patient care and safety.

Required Qualifications: M.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited medical institution. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery. Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Microsurgery.

Preferred Qualifications: Clinical experience with complex breast reconstruction, including microsurgical flap procedures. Strong interest in academic medicine, teaching, and/or research.
