Business Integration Assistant, University Advancement
Job Description Summary
The Business Integration Assistant assists the Director of Business Integration in fostering operational excellence by supporting training initiatives, streamlining knowledge management systems, and enhancing role-based security and onboarding processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across teams. The role contributes to the successful execution of technical projects through cross-functional collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and continuous process optimization. The role also explores and recommends innovative AI solutions, fostering a culture of collaboration and digital transformation among team members and business partners to improve operational performance.

Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Supports onboarding and training for new staff and business partners.
- Assists with initiatives to improve workflows and knowledge management systems.
- Provides basic troubleshooting and escalates complex issues.
- Collaborate with team members on projects and initiatives
- Monitors incident management system and responds to assigned tickets.
- Researches and recommends AI tools and digital solutions.
- Participates in cross-functional team efforts.
- Supports change management and documentation.
- Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school degree required.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Ability to gather and synthesize user feedback into actionable next steps.
- Entry level training and facilitation capabilities.
- Technical literacy and innovative drive.
- Process-focused thinking with a user-first approach.
- Respect for the dignity and abilities of all people.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Associate’s degree or 1-2 years equivalent experience.
- Experience or interest in AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible.
- Team-oriented mindset.
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for own work.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
Sedentary work primarily involving sitting/standing; communicating with others to exchange information; repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers; and assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned. Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. No adverse environmental conditions expected. Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces. Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
