Cashier
As Bursar’s Office cashier, the employee serves students, departments, and other internal and external constituencies by processing payments, deposits, advance reimbursements, and other financial transactions while maintaining accuracy and consistency, and always providing excellent customer service.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Employee should have considerable knowledge of office procedures, Excel, and must be able to communicate effectively - verbally and in writing. Employee must have the ability to perform cash handling duties with complete accuracy.
Minimum Requirements: No specific education or experience.
Preferred: High School diploma and 1 year of clerical accounting or bookkeeping experience. Banking/Teller/Cashier experience preferred. Customer service experience highly preferred with a record of proven quality of service provided in an office environment with multiple distractions, interruptions, and repetitive tasks.
