Your next career opportunity
As the Centre and Project Manager at the newly established Centre of Research Excellence IMPACT Chronic Cough, you will coordinate operations and support the development of innovative research projects. You will engage with a dynamic team of scientists, clinicians, and stakeholders to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of chronic cough, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to lead governance and strategic initiatives, with potential growth to a full-time position as the Centre achieves its milestones.

Your responsibilities will include
  • Managing Centre Operations: Establish processes for tracking deliverables, resource allocation, and reporting.
  • Providing Project Management Support: Guide academic and clinical teams through project lifecycles, ensuring timely and high-standard delivery.
  • Developing Communication Strategies: Engage stakeholders and enhance external communications through web pages and social media.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Adhere to University policies, ensuring ethical standards and effective risk management.

You may be a great fit if
You are an experienced project manager with a background in health research or healthcare sectors, possessing exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex projects with diverse stakeholders.

You may also:
  • Have substantial experience in project management within health research.
  • Possess exceptional people management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate expertise in managing complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard application software.
  • Have a degree or formal training in a relevant area.

Your new team – “School of Biomedical Science”
As part of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences since 2015, the School comprises three Departments, Departments of Anatomy and Physiology, Biochemistry and Pharmacology, and Microbiology and Immunology.
