About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for the purchase, preparation and provision of nutritious meals for up to 80 children ranging in aged between 6 weeks and 6 years.
You will:
- plan and prepare nutritious menus for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea;
- plan and order required food, drink and groceries;
- clean and maintain the kitchen environment and equipment to ensure food safety standards are met; and
- liaise with parents and staff on individual Children’s nutritional requirements.
About you
To be considered for this position, you will have demonstrated:
- completion of a Level 2 Food Handlers Certificate;
- sound knowledge of the Food Safety Act 1984;
- general understanding of the General understanding of the legislative and regulatory requirement for Early Childhood Education and Care;
- knowledge of health and safety requirement specific to Early Childhood Education Services.
