Description

The Department of English of Dyson College of Arts and Sciences of Pace University New York, invites applications for a one year faculty position at the rank of Lecturer (non-tenure track) to begin September 1, 2024. The position is located at the University’s campus in lower Manhattan, NYC.

The successful candidate, a specialist in fiction writing, poetry, and journalism with expertise in Latin literature and culture literature with experience teaching composition, will teach across these disciplines. Teaching responsibilities will include some combination of composition, journalism, advanced fiction workshop, and Latinx Voices. The teaching load will be 4 courses per Fall and Spring semester. 

Requirements

A Ph.D. in creative writing or English is required by the start date. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive undergraduate teaching experience, particularly in fiction workshops, journalism, and Latin literature and culture.
