The selected candidate will serve as the clinical coordinator for the radiography and advanced certificate programs in computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) within the Radiologic Technology (RAD) Program, serving the Department of Health Sciences.

Candidates are expected to contribute to the program’s mission, enhance the curricular offerings, and strengthen our academic and clinical quality.

Service to the program, department, college, and university typically includes advising students, contributing to student recruitment, and retention. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to inclusive excellence, which the University defines as an unwavering commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community where every student, staff member, and faculty colleague feels deeply rooted, empowered to flourish, and inspired to achieve their highest potential.

Consistent with Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accreditation requirements, the clinical coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of clinical experiences including:

  • Correlating and coordinating clinical education with didactic education in all clinical experiences;
  • Participating in didactic and clinical instruction;

  • Expansion of existing and development of new clinical affiliate relationships;
  • Comprehensive management of all clinical eligibility screening (e.g., background checks, drug testing, immunization records) and clinical site orientation/onboarding;
  • Identification and implementation of pedagogical advances and inclusive instruction to meet the needs of evolving practice standards and the general effectiveness of the students’ clinical education in radiography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging.

The initial Clinical/Applied contract is 1-2 years and subsequent longer-term contracts are based on review of performance and the continuing need for the position.
