A fantastic opportunity for a clinical audiologist/ clinical educator to work in a unique environment where client-focused care is seamlessly integrated with evidence-based audiology services.
- Salary Package: From $111,643 (HEW Level 7), pro rata for part-time appointments plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Appointment Type: Fixed-term appointment until December 2027 (with potential for extension), part-time (14 hours per week across 2 days - Monday and Tuesday only)

The Role
The Liverpool Hospital Audiology Clinic is looking for a part-time Clinical Audiologist/ Clinical Educator to deliver high-quality, evidence-based audiology services. In this role, the successful candidate will also play a key part in educating and supporting Master of Clinical Audiology students, helping them develop the professional skills and clinical competencies required for the profession.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high quality diagnostic audiology services and bring a professional, enthusiastic approach to their work. You will hold a postgraduate degree in Clinical Audiology, be an Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist, and thrive in an innovative multidisciplinary environment that values integrated care and excellence in clinical education. A proactive mindset and experience providing diagnostic audiology services, including vestibular assessment, is essential.
About Us
Situated within the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct, the Liverpool Hospital Audiology Clinic delivers quality clinical care to the community while supporting the training of Master of Clinical Audiology students. The clinic provides a full suite of diagnostic audiology services for adults and children, across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
This position reports to the Audiology Manager, based at Macquarie University’s North Ryde campus.

To be considered for this position, applicants should demonstrate the following requirements in their CV and a 1–2-page cover letter addressing the selection criteria below:
- Have a post-graduate qualification in Clinical Audiology.
- Hold Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist Certification and be a full or fellow member of Audiology Australia.
- Demonstrated skill and experience (minimum 2 years) delivering evidence-based diagnostic audiology services (including vestibular assessments).
- Experience in managing competing demands and a diverse client caseload.
- Experience or interest in delivering clinical education to students.
- Demonstrated understanding of professional code of ethics and relevant healthcare legislation.
*** Employment in this position is conditional upon holding a valid Working with Children Check Clearance, a satisfactory National Police Clearance Check and qualification check, as well as providing evidence to satisfy the University that you meet the University’s requirements in relation to immunisation/ vaccination (Category A), where required, providing evidence from a registered general practitioner.
