Job Description
The Office of Clinical Experiences in the College of Education at UMSL is seeking a Student Coordinator I to provide essential administrative and operational support for the College.
- The person holding this position will serve as the primary point of contact for students and community partners related to community-based field placements.
- The Coordinator is responsible for management of compliance data, execution of office-sponsored events, and day-to-day communications that ensure high quality learning experiences and partnerships.
- The Coordinator works closely with the Director of Clinical Operations and the Student Coordinator for K-12 school placements; this position reports directly to the Director of Teacher Education.
- Additionally, this staff member will be the administrative point person for the Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) structure in the College of Education, in which capacity he/she will be able to work closely with academic unit leaders, faculty, and staff on the process in place to assess evidence of experiential learning that could be credited for certificate or degree-granting programs.
- This role requires the ability to multitask and the ability to interface effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Core responsibilities include placement logistics, compliance monitoring, data maintenance, event coordination, and Prior Learning management.

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, detail-oriented, technologically proficient, and able to work well independently and collaboratively.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $19.25 - $27.40
