Clinical Neurology Series
The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine anticipates faculty openings at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels within the Clinical Neurology Series. We seek candidates specializing in areas such as General Neurology, Alzheimer's Disease and other Dementias, Epilepsy, Headache, Movement Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Cognitive Neurology, Neurogenetics, Neurohospitalist Medicine, Neuromuscular Disease, Neuro-Oncology, Neuropsychology, Pain Management, Sleep Medicine, and Stroke.
Candidates must have demonstrated capabilities for teaching, professional service, and/or research suitable to the Clinical Neurology series. The predominant responsibilities are teaching, clinical service, and engagement in creative activities with a heavy emphasis on teaching and/or clinical service.
Candidates should hold an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent degree with active board certification or eligibility in Neurology and/or Neurology subspecialties. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct significant research, deliver high-quality patient care, teach fellows, residents, and medical students, and contribute to University and public service.
Salary range: Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation includes AAMC salary benchmarks for Neurology ranging from $220,000.00 - $289,940.00. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
