Clinical Research Coordinator B/C
The University of Pennsylvania, a world-renowned leader in education, research, and innovation, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator to join the Clinical Studies Unit within the Department of Dermatology. This full-time role involves managing complex dermatology studies, including investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored clinical trials.
Key responsibilities include overseeing subject recruitment, data management, subject visits, follow-up activities, and maintaining regulatory documentation. The coordinator will ensure compliance with institutional, FDA, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
Responsibilities for Clinical Research Coordinator B:
- Coordinate Phase I-IV clinical trials, including data collection and specimen processing.
- Participate in study initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits.
- Plan and implement patient recruitment strategies.
- Schedule and oversee participant visits, ensuring adherence to protocols and GCP.
- Manage investigational agent supply and documentation.
- Collect and report study data accurately.
Additional responsibilities for Clinical Research Coordinator C:
- Work independently, managing complex trials and acting in a lead capacity.
- Mentor new staff and oversee project timelines.
Qualifications:
- For B: Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of experience, or equivalent.
- For C: Bachelor's degree and 4-5 years of experience, or equivalent.
- Effective communication skills, ability to multitask, and knowledge of CFR, ICH, and GCP guidelines.
