COE Success Services Student Assistant - Federal Work Study
Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the College of Education department on the Gainesville campus. The COE office of Student Support Service is looking for a motivated and organized student to assist our retention efforts. A student candidate should have good interpersonal and communication skills. Students with experience in both word, outlook, and canva is a plus. This position will help coordinate rooms, information, and materials for COE retention events, COE ambassador programing, and other student activities. An Ideal candidate would have an eye for detail and well organized.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating materials for COE Core Education Experience (CES) and retention events
- Assist in reserving campus spaces for COE events and initiatives
- Assist in creating media for any events or retention activities and upload this media to UNGconnect, UNG calendars, and UNG campus TVS
- Support clerical work associated with COE Ambassador Program events
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of basic Microsoft office applications such as excel, word, teams, and outlook
- Familiar with design software such as Canva
- Basic technical and computer knowledge
- Familiarity with university systems and platforms
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
