Well-being Marketing and Event Student Specialist - Federal Work Study

Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Student Engagement & Success department on the Gainesville campus. This position will work closely with the Dean of Students and AVP of Well-being staff to create marketing materials, plan and implement events, support the food pantry, and to provide resource education to students primarily on the Gainesville campus in a fun and engaging way.
Responsibilities
- Assist with marketing Dean of Student and Well-being programming and resource information to students and their supporters.
- Develop flyers, social media posts, emails, etc. for dissemination to students and their supporters with information on the Dean of Students office, Well-being departments and initiatives, and Gainesville Campus.
- Assist with Basic Needs and Food Pantry efforts.
- Plan and implement small scale tabling and educational events and assist with larger scale Dean of Students and Well-being events.
- Assist with other office operations as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Experience with Canva or other design platforms; Basic Microsoft Office Suite; social media platforms such as Instagram.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
