Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Performing Arts department on the Gainesville campus. The Video Content Creator position is responsible for overseeing the planning, production, and editing of video content for use in Gainesville Theatre Alliance promotional materials and on social media. This position will work closely with the Marketing Manager and the GTA Marketing Team to develop short-form video content, trailers, and advertisements.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, create and edit short-form video content for social media, email, and web use, including show trailers, interviews, and advertisements
- Shoot video of GTA events, including practicums, student-led productions, capstone performances, and open rehearsals for use in social media, email, and print media
- Assist in maintaining an organized library of photo and video assets
- Assist in maintenance of camera and lighting equipment
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong videography and editing skills
- Advanced knowledge of video cameras, including DSLR & traditional video cameras, and video editing software (i.e. Premiere Pro)
- Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Dependability, professionalism and flexibility
Required Qualifications
Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
