College Work-Study Engineering and Applied Technology (EAT) Lab Technician/Tool Crib Attendant
Provide support to the EAT programs and tool crib areas as a member of the Work-Study program.

All applicants MUST meet the following criteria or will be marked 'disqualified':
- a current student at Macomb Community College taking AT LEAST 6 credit hours.
- currently have a work-study award given by Financial Aid - If you have not received an award or are not sure, fill out and submit this form and contact finaid@macomb.edu with questions.
- Monitor facility operations for the Manager of Facilities & Operations, in her/his absence, to ensure that the facility is operated in a manner that is consistent with the policies and procedures adopted by the College for the overall operation.
- Enforces health, safety and fire regulations within the facility.
- May be required to open/close the facility.
- Check in and check out tools and equipment in EAT labs.
- Provide proper security for the facility, tools, and equipment.
- Inform supervisor and/or instructor of students not following safety procedures.
- Answer telephone, transfer calls and/or take messages.
- Run errands on campus.
- Assist faculty, staff, and students within the EAT facility(s).
- Maintain all department records electronically, including inventory of lab supplies, and initiate replacement supply orders.
- Perform daily routine shop and equipment cleaning and rubbish removal.
- Perform routine shop and equipment cleaning.
- Monitor equipment condition and notify supervisor of required repairs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
