Job Description:

The Communication Sciences and Disorders Department seeks qualified individuals to join our adjunct hiring pool to express their interest in future, part-time teaching assignments at Worcester State.

Undergraduate adjunct faculty teach between 3 - 9 credits. Graduate adjunct faculty teach between 1 - 6 credit.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in speech-language pathology, cognitive science, psychology, or related field, Ph.D. preferred. Students who are ABD in a PhD training program will be considered.
  2. Experience in the field of Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology with certificates of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology is preferred.
  3. Teaching experience is preferred, at either the college or high school level.
  4. Experience with distance learning is preferred.
  5. Must have a laptop and reliable internet access.

Adjunct faculty postings are for potential part-time, non-benefited, teaching positions during the academic year.

The applicant pool will be reviewed by the department chair, when searching for candidates to fill the position.

Applicants for adjunct positions will not be notified of their status unless they are contacted by the department chair or their designee.

Applicants should withdraw their application from the pool if they are no longer interested.
