Job Summary:
The contracts administrator is a position within the University of Colorado Office of Regulatory Compliance, Clinical research contracts team. As a key member of the contracting and agreements support team, this position encompasses a wide variety of duties and responsibilities. This individual works extensively with professionals in all areas of the University and affiliates to assist with the ongoing support of the contracting function. The work involves a variety of systems including but not limited to OnCore, Formstack, and InfoEd.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate contracting documents for contract associate review and redline.
- Send the redlined agreement(s) to the outside party/sponsor for review.
- Respond to follow up correspondence and send to reviewer for additional review, input or clearance to start signatures.
- Manage the signature process using Adobe sign or Docusign, obtaining all required signatures.
- Identify and escalate issues as needed.
- Provide a fully executed copy of the document to all parties.
- Upon full execution of the document, update correspondence file, and complete closeout of the file.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with appropriate faculty and staff to ensure comprehension of final set of terms and conditions.
- Other duties as required.
- The contract administrator will be responsible for helping manage the general-purpose contracts inbox, which includes intake of clinical trial agreements (CTAs), Material Transfer Agreements (MTA), Confidential/Non-Disclosure Agreements (CDA/NDA), and other contract documents.
- The contract administrator will answer and triage incoming emails.
- This position will also be responsible for processing contract amendments, date extensions, and Formstack submissions.
- Participate with other team members in the development of practices and procedures in areas in need of development/improvement.
- Help identify, discuss, and solve workflow issues common to the clinical research contracting process.
- Assistance is provided by attending meetings, researching issues, and drafting reports. Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Provide coverage as needed
- Willingness to help find answers to questions that are outside area of expertise.
- Other duties as assigned
Work Location:
Remote – IN STATE of COLORADO this role is eligible to work remotely, but the employee must be in the United States.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, finance, accounting, business administration, business, or a directly related field from an accredited institution and 1 year of professional level experience in a fast paced, high volume customer service or support role.
- Substitution : A combination of education and related Technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. (A certificate from an accredited paralegal training program and 2 years of relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in higher education grants and contracts administration
- Experience with industry-sponsored clinical research contracts

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range ( or hiring range ) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE $57,525 - $77,083
The above salary range ( or hiring range ) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
