"Cook, Per Diem"

The Cook is responsible for preparation of food for Patient Food Services, Cafe, Coffee shops and conference center events. This person establishes and monitors food quality standards to ensure consistency and highest quality standards for UCSF Medical Center to include food temperature monitoring. As member of the culinary services team, the Cook solves problems related to the culinary services unit before, during and after meal periods. The incumbent is expected to assist with and maintain safety and sanitation within the department.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $36.23 - $36.23 (Hourly Rate).
