Job Description
The University of Notre Dame is committed to leveraging technology as a force for good. The CRM Administration Professional serves as the primary CRM support lead for the Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO), an initiative dedicated to reducing poverty through evidence-based research. While you will be a fully integrated member of the Office of Information Technology (OIT), you will serve as the dedicated technical engine driving LEO's Salesforce environment and related tools.
Reporting directly to the Director of Enterprise CRM, you will ensure that LEO's CRM capabilities are secure, scalable, and perfectly aligned with both their strategic programmatic goals and the University's enterprise standards. This is a unique opportunity to provide specialized support for a high-impact mission while operating within a world-class IT organization. If you are a Salesforce expert who enjoys translating complex business needs into elegant technical solutions, we invite you to help us strengthen the connections that fuel Notre Dame's research and outreach.
What You'll Do
As the CRM Administration Professional, your work will be divided into four key focus areas to ensure the stability and growth of the platform:
- System Administration & Support (40%): Manage the core Salesforce environment, including user accounts, roles, permissions, and security settings. You are the first line of support, resolving tickets promptly and ensuring high data quality and governance practices. During transition periods, you will also support interim tools like Wrike.
- Configuration & Development (25%): Design and maintain the flows, automations, and configurations that streamline business processes. This includes building the dashboards and analytics reports that leadership needs for data-driven decision-making, as well as supporting technical integrations between Salesforce and other institutional systems.
- Collaboration & Onboarding (25%): Consult LEO teams and OIT partners, translating business requirements into scalable technical designs. You will coordinate closely with the College of Arts & Letters IT team to ensure alignment with College-level systems and support structures.
- Training & Strategic Alignment (10%): Create knowledge resources and deliver training to improve system literacy and drive user adoption. You will also assist in CRM roadmap planning to ensure the system evolves alongside LEO's programmatic goals.
