Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a student worker on the Gainesville campus in the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Leadership (CTLL). The position will mainly support our team with a variety of office and clerical tasks, but additional video editing and captioning training opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

  • Answer questions regarding the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Leadership (CTLL).
  • Write and proofread documents and media, such as advertising, website information, etc.
  • Scan and archive documents in a digital filing system.
  • Assist with data entry.
  • Update RSVP database and event attendance, CTLL Outlook Calendar, CTLL Events & Workshops Calendar.
  • Assist with captioning workshop videos.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely with limited guidance from CTLL staff.
  • Ability to pivot quickly between tasks, Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage routine tasks independently.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.

Required Qualifications

Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in the minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
