"Custodian - Housing"

Position Summary:

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Custodian – Housing for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O).

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Performs a wide variety of routine custodial duties required to maintain buildings and grounds in a clean and habitable condition.
• Performs basic maintenance and repair duties on university facilities and equipment.

Minimum Education and Experience:

No experience required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, must be able to work with vibrating equipment (i.e. vacuums, floor machines), and must be able to work with various cleaning chemicals.

Special Conditions:

Total of 4 vacancies:
2 vacancies are M-F 8:00am-4:30pm
2 vacancies are M-W 8:00am-4:30pm & Sat-Sun 6:00am-2:30pm
