Job Summary

Perform advanced custodial services and facilitate and/or oversee routine and detailed housekeeping operations to ensure assigned unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. This position will interact on a regular basis with: staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: staff. This position will supervise.

Responsibilities

• Job Duty 1 - Assign and inspect custodial/housekeeping work and related projects/activities to maintain unit/facility cleanliness levels and appearance
• Job Duty 2 - Perform specialized cleaning operations necessary to ensure unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner
• Job Duty 3 - Maintain supply inventory necessary to successfully perform routine and detailed custodial services
• Job Duty 4 - Respond to system-transmitted service requests
• Job Duty 5 - Transport custodial employees to and from work assignments, as necessary
• Job Duty 6 - Operate and/or maintain assigned power equipment related to custodial services, as required
• Job Duty 7 - Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience
Three to five years job related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
Ability to follow prescribed instructions, effectively communicate, operate basic computer applications and, work independently and as a member of a team.

This is a supervisory position.
This position does not have any financial responsibilities.
This position will be required to drive.
This role is considered a position of trust.
This position does not require a purchasing card (P-Card).
This position will not travel
This position does not require security clearance.

Job Grade: C3B

Pay Range: $17.64/hr - $21.96/hr
