Job Description Summary
The Cullen Lab is a dynamic, multidisciplinary research group focused on neural tissue engineering and neurotrauma. Data Analyst C will lead data analysis and computational modeling efforts across several active research programs. This individual prepares reports, dashboards, and visualizations for defined datasets. May occasionally support basic data science tasks such as pattern recognition or simple exploratory analysis.

Job Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Computational Modeling
- Develop and manage end-to-end data analysis pipelines for imaging, electrophysiology, behavioral, and molecular datasets.
- Design and validate computational models to analyze neural network complexity using graph theory, dynamical systems, and machine learning approaches.
- Implement reproducibility standards: documentation, version control, quality checks, and data provenance.
- Create publication-ready visualizations and summary reports.
Experimental Design & Statistical Consultation
- Collaborate with investigators on experimental design, power calculations, and data interpretation.
- Provide statistical consultation for ongoing and planned studies.
- Ensure all analyses align with sponsor and institutional rigor standards.
Project Management & Coordination
- Coordinate research deliverables, milestones, and documentation across multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain data integrity and project alignment across collaborators.
- Support grant preparation and reporting by providing quantitative input and figures.
Scientific Communication
- Contribute analytical sections, figures, and methods to manuscripts, presentations, and proposals.
- Communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Pay Range
$61,000.00 - $76,000.00 Annual Rate Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level. Internal organization and peer data at Penn are also considered.
