"Dental Hygiene Instructor - Cape Cod Community College"

General Statement of Responsibilities

The Instructor will provide comprehensive didactic instruction to dental hygiene students in preparation for clinical procedures in Dental Hygiene I (DEN121). This 2-credit course introduces the profession of dental hygiene, the dental hygiene code of ethics, principles of infection and exposure prevention, and the CDC Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Teaching experience at the college level or equivalent.
• Ability to create an environment that supports student learning and success.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience in a preclinical dental hygiene course.
• Evidence of teaching methodology, experience with learning management systems such as Moodle.

COMPENSATION: Anticipated starting salary - Step 1 DCE pay scale. Part-time, non-benefitted MCCC/DCE Unit position.
