"Dentist Teacher with Experience in Extensive Prosthetic Rehabilitation"

Job Summary

As a teacher in the section of Reconstructive & Restorative Dental Care, you will guide motivated dentists in training to become implantologists, preparing them for careers in implantology and extensive prosthetics. You will develop new didactic skills in a dynamic academic environment and collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to stay updated on the latest developments.

Responsibilities

• Guide and coach dentists in post-initial training within clinical education.
• Discuss scientific literature and present seminars.
• Actively participate in the preparation, execution, and evaluation of clinical education.
• Support students in post-initial training with high-quality education on reconstructive dental care, provide feedback, and discuss prosthetic and surgical treatment plans.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a dental degree (BIG registered).
• Hepatitis B vaccinated.
• Actively working in clinical oral care.
• Experience with extensive prosthetics in combination with implantology.
• Good interpersonal and clinical skills.
• Affinity with education and willingness to develop in teaching.
• Flexibility to be deployed in various tasks and educational components.
• Good command of spoken and written Dutch language.

What the Employer Offers

• A temporary contract for 1 year, with the possibility of a permanent contract afterward.
• Salary between €5,495 and €7,056 gross per month for a full-time position (scale 12), based on education and experience.
• A position of at least 0.2 FTE.
• Additional benefits including 232 vacation hours per year for a full-time 38-hour workweek, 8% holiday allowance, 8.3% end-of-year bonus, contribution to ABP pension scheme, travel expense allowance, and a choice model for fiscal exchange of certain employment conditions.
