NYU College of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time Clinical Instructor to join our modern, state-of-the-art dental facility in Downtown Brooklyn. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical instruction and direct patient care while mentoring dental students in a supportive, hands-on learning environment. Key responsibilities include supervising students in clinical settings, delivering comprehensive general dental care, and contributing to curriculum development and student assessment. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to clinical excellence and educational innovation.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $100K - $150K. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

Candidates must hold a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited institution and possess current licensure in New York State. Prior experience in general dentistry practice is required, along with demonstrated clinical proficiency in operative dentistry, endodontics, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and periodontics. Preferred qualifications include prior academic or clinical teaching experience, additional proficiency in oral surgery and esthetic dentistry, and familiarity with digital dentistry tools such as CAD/CAM systems and intraoral scanners.

Candidates must be sensitive to the needs of and possess an interest in working in a broad academic community with different viewpoints and backgrounds. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
