Department Administrator

Overview

Manage fiscal and administrative operations for the department including developing and administering budgets, supervising staff, ensuring efficient processing of faculty and staff appointments, developing and implementing policies and procedures, overseeing scheduling, registration activities and course information preparation and effectively resolving faculty and staff problems. Develop and supervise office staff.

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:

Master's Degree

Required Experience:

5+ years of increasingly responsible administrative experience, including managing administrative services/processes, budgets, and staff, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:

5+ years Office, program, or business operations management experience at a large college or university.

Develop or update procedures, policies, or standards. Evaluate employees' job performance and conformance to regulations and recommend appropriate personnel action. Interpret and communicate work procedures and company policies to staff. Ability to manage several projects and demands simultaneously
