About the Role
The Digital Learning Designer Team Lead is responsible for leading and contributing to the design and development of engaging, accessible, and innovative digital learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of learners. This role provides leadership to a team of Digital Learning Designers, overseeing task allocation, monitoring progress, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture. The position also supports capability development and drives innovation, while contributing to the delivery of key strategic initiatives, including the Educator Capability Framework and Program.
Reporting to the Manager, Education Innovation Studio (EIX), the Team Lead works collaboratively with educators, subject matter experts, and stakeholders across the university to deliver high-quality digital learning resources that enhance the student experience. The role also supports the design and delivery of professional development initiatives for educators, promoting best practice in digital learning design and effective integration of learning technologies.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating the work of others in a digital learning or instructional design context, including task prioritisation, workload management, and quality assurance
- Advanced experience designing and developing engaging and inclusive digital learning experiences using eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia applications (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Demonstrated experience with implementing quality teaching and learning processes to enhance the learner experience
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard) and supporting a variety of learning technologies to enable online and blended learning

Qualifications
A degree with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in learning design, education technology, instructional design or a related field.
