Your Role: As a Dining Services Attendant, Sr., you will perform various duties necessary in the preparation of the service of food. Provide quality customer service to students, faculty, staff, and guests.

This position may require working evenings, weekends and holidays.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inputs, receives, and puts away warehouse and production kitchen orders.
• Prepares unit for opening, stocking, signs, cleanliness, and equipment.
• Ensures catering orders are completed and delivered as requested.
• Sets up Sequoia, retrieves banks, prepares market and food as needed.
• Monitors food quality and employee productivity.
• Ensures all areas are staffed, delegates job assignments to student staff.
• Completes product orders as required.
• Trains new employees in their job duties and health code.
• Rings up orders accurately.
• Counts bank to verify accuracy and enters totals on reports as required.
• Assists with weekly inventory.
• Supports and ensures the control of food costs.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of food service operations, including sanitation standards and food preparation.
• Knowledge of and actively supports labor cost and food cost budgets.
• Knowledge of food service equipment, such as steamers, slicers, and fryers.
• Knowledge of Food Pro and can perform forecasting.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Physical Requirements

Occasionally lift/transport/move a maximum of 50 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years experience in a high volume restaurant.
