Job Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Foundations & CFO... The Director will oversee all finance-related functions for the Augusta University Foundation...

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee the Finance & Accounting staff...
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting...
• Serve as strategic partner to the AVP...
• Oversee cash flow planning...
• Remain up-to-date on nonprofit audit best practices...
• Develop financial business plans and forecasts...
• Coordinate the development of short-, medium-, and long-term financial plans...
• Assist in the development of Foundation investment policies...
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline... and a minimum of five years' work experience... Supervisor experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree.
• CPA License.
• Ten years of financial management...
• Experience working in or with a non-profit foundation...
• Demonstrated career progression...
• Experience working with Blackbaud Financial Edge...

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

The Director will be a dynamic, self-motivated... with experience in non-profit financial accounting...

Shift/Salary/Benefits

Shift: Days/M-F...
Pay Band: B17
Salary Range: $109,500/annually - $125,000/annually
