"Director of Lifelong Learning and Senior Alumni, Lifelong Learning"

Responsibilities:

• Oversees and manages the overall strategy of Lipscomb University's Lifelong Learning program. This includes the communication, marketing and recruitment strategy.
• Seeks out and schedules all classes related to the Lifelong Learning program including coordination of event spaces, speakers, and topics.
• Oversees the stewardship of Golden Circle Alumni and their overall experience with Lipscomb University. Includes event planning and messaging.
• Manages the coordination efforts of the 50 year reunion including opportunities to provide additional fundraising to Lipscomb in collaboration with the Bisons Weekend planning team.
• Provides strategy in regards to all senior alumni programming as it relates to fundraising and alumni engagement efforts.
• Manages a budget pertaining to the Lifelong Learning program and ensures the program brings in revenue beyond its operational cost
• Work with the Bisons Weekend committee to manage the budget for the 50th reunion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of marketing, event planning or related experience required.
• Ability to represent the University with tact and diplomacy at all times required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required for written and verbal contact with donors and alumni.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, evaluation options, and implement effective action steps to accomplish objectives.
• An understanding of the entire development enterprise - particularly within an academic setting and the ability to work within that framework desirable.
• Outstanding organizational skill necessary.
• Strong professional ethics and computer literacy required.
• Some evening and weekend work required.
