POSITION: Director of Strategic Enrollment Management
LOCATION: NDSCS – Wahpeton, North Dakota
TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full-time, 12-month, benefited position

JOB SUMMARY:
NDSCS seeks a Director of Strategic Enrollment Management to provide leadership for recruitment and admissions functions while serving as the institutional steward of the Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Plan. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing enrollment strategies that align institutional priorities, market realities, and student success goals.
Working in close partnership with the Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid, and college stakeholders, the Director advances a coordinated, data-informed approach to enrollment. The Director translates enrollment data into actionable insights, guides cross-functional collaboration, and ensures recruitment and admissions efforts are aligned with the broader SEM framework to support sustainable enrollment outcomes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in education, communication, marketing, business administration, or closely related field or progressive leadership experience within enrollment management, admissions, marketing, sales, or closely related field.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment and outreach strategies, pipeline development, and funnel management across education, marketing, or sales environments.
- Ability to analyze data and use reporting tools to guide strategy and drive outcomes.
- Supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.
- Flexibility to travel, including occasional overnight stays
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in education, communication, marketing, or business administration.
- Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in enrollment management or admissions.
BENEFITS
NDSCS offers a comprehensive benefits package with an estimated value of over $30,000. The package includes single or family health insurance coverage with premiums paid for by the College – with an effective date for new employees the first of the month following the date of hire. Other benefits include basic life insurance, annual and sick leave, retirement plan, tuition waiver, spouse/dependent tuition discount, and employee assistance program. Optional benefits include life, dental, and vision insurance, a flexible spending account, and supplemental retirement plans.
PAY: Starting at $80,000 - $90,000, commensurate with education and experience

BACKGROUND CHECK: NDSCS requires a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to an official offer of the position.
